2021 and a new era has come! Black Swan private hire ltd was created, previously trading as Black Swan Taxis of dawlish, Due to Covid-19 as a company it was decided to close the doors and say goodbye to Black swan taxis and hello to Black swan private hire ltd, offering luxury
pre-booked private hire only and specialising in pre-booked long distance travel only.

Our team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals, who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in the industry, they have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients.
Stephen Prentice
Executive private hire driver.
Steve has worked in the transport sector for many years and joined the team in 2019, his knowledge of the industry is second to none. Steve is based in Teignmouth where he lives with his wife.
Peter Fuller
Executive private hire driver.
Peter is the newest member of the team but has previously worked with Black Swan Taxis he is based in Paignton and has previously worked as a baker so a slight change in career.
Chris Smith
Director and executive driver.
Chris has been involved in the industry since 2009 and set up his first taxi business in 2010 and not looked back since. Having previously worked for Royal Mail he has a huge knowledge of the local area and road networks.
School transport enablers.

Ruth
Ruth has also been with us from the start working part time to enable SEN children the ability to attend education, she also works for the skills network and is a qualified nurse. When not working she crafts and makes jewellery and essential oils.

Jamie has worked with us since the start and works part time enabling children with additional needs to attend school, when not working he enjoys time with his dog and sci-fi.

Paula has worked with the company since it started and live within Teignbridge since joining the team she has supported many a child to enjoy travel to and from educational settings.

Clare works with us getting children from home to school with SEN travelling as far as Okehampton daily, She is based in Teignbridge.
